Timati and Guf on September 7 released a joint song and music video “Moscow”, which became the record holder for dislikes in the Russian YouTube. Soon he will disappear from there.
This was told by Timati himself through Instagram. The artist says that he did not want to anger anyone, much less create a negative. “The bust is over here,” he adds.
Guf apologized to the audience and explained that he did not know about the political context and simply recorded the song on City Day. He did not receive money, he said.
In the video “Moscow”, rappers praise the capital, mention Mayor Sobyanin, and Timati reads the line “I don’t go to rallies and do not rub game.”
The video appeared against the backdrop of summer protests, courts and the arrests of protesters. Hence the negative reaction – the clip received almost 1.5 million dislikes with only 88 thousand likes. It even ranks 31st in the top 50 videos with the most fingers down.
