After the transfer of the relay, Yoshide, who became CEO last April, I, as Sony chairman, had the opportunity to ensure a smooth transition and support from the company's management. I am confident that Sony has a bright future under the command of Yoshida. Therefore, I decided to leave the corporation that has been part of my life for the past 35 years. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all our staff and stakeholders who supported me throughout the trip.
The company is now managed by Kenichiro Yoshida. A little earlier, Sony has appointed a new PlayStation CEO – Jim Ryan. He led the gaming unit instead of John Codera. And he, in turn, took over the post of vice president.Tags: completely, Hirai, Kaz, leave, Sony, year
