After several unsuccessful attempts, Gearbox Software announced Borderlands 3 as part of a presentation at PAX and demonstrated an incredibly stylish and perky trailer for the upcoming game. Despite the many technical difficulties, the hall was sincerely delighted! Studios even had to show it a second time. Randy Pitchford himself stressed that development has been going on for five years now.

Do not worry, the "royal battle" in it just will not.

Details with the players will share on April 3. On the same day, the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection owners will receive a free update, which will add support for higher-quality textures and 4K-resolution.

In addition, 2K Games at the same time will release a remaster of Borderlands 2009 with 4K support and splitscreen for four players. Apparently, the owners of the original will receive it for free.

Also, the developers will make some changes to the game:

A minimap appears, as in Borderlands 2;
The event will be simplified;
Players will be able to automatically pick up items;
The battle with the final boss will be harder and more exciting;
There will be 6 new legendary cannons, which can be obtained with the help of golden keys or killing bosses;
Heroes will get new opportunities to personalize the look.

Everything else Gearbox has not forgotten about Borderlands 2 VR. In the summer, an update will be released for it, along with which gamers will have access to all additions to the standard version of the game.
